Welcome to the website of Guisborough & District Motorcycle Club Ltd

The Guisborough & District Motorcycle Club Ltd is affiliated to the East Yorks Centre of the Auto Cycle Union and caters for trials riders only.

We run approximately 15 events per year and also run a practice facility where for an annual fee riders can practice their trials skills on varied terrain leased from Guisborough Estates. The practice area is open on Thursday nights during the summer months from 5pm and all day Saturdays, Sundays and all Bank Holidays (Excluding Xmas day) from 9:30am to dusk.

There is an article in this month`s TMX on Scarborough DMC and Frank Hildrick, a very well-known character, who did so much for the sport of trials. Some members, and riders of a certain age, may find it interesting.

Summer Series Round 4

Due to the parking field been waterlogged, this Sundays trial at Low Gill Beck Farm has had to be moved to Charltons TS14 6PX.

This trial is Round 4 of our Clubs Summer Series and also a round of the EYC Adult and Twinshock Championship.

Everybody welcome, All classes, Enter on the day, 10.30 start, ACU Day licences available on the day

VENUE CHANGE

Unfortunately due to the parking field at Low Gill Beck Farm been waterlogged, we have made the decision to move this coming Saturday Night Trial to Charltons, Due to the short notice to our Members the practice facility will be open for practice until 4pm Saturday and open as normal on Sunday.

All we ask is whilst using the facility that you do not ride the sections we plotted for the trial, we will however leave them in after the event for your enjoyment.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Upcoming Events

2026 Club Championship:

This year our Club Championship will be ran over 5 rounds with 4 rounds counting, the trials are OPEN events so all are welcome to ride. Championship points will be awarded to club members only.

2026 Wednesday Evening Easy Trial Series:

This series is a great introduction to trials and getting started in competing, all rounds will be ran at Charltons our practice ground. The events will consist of 3 short laps, 7 sections. Hard Route (Equivalent to Clubman B) Medium Route (Equivalent to White Route) Easy Route (Equivalent to Conducted Route). These events are open to non members, you can also purchase a one event ACU licence on the day if you don’t have one.

2026 Entry Fees:

Standard Trials including Summer Series:

Adults £20, Youths on main trial £10, Conducted Route £5

Wednesday Evening Easy Trial Series:

Adults £10, Youths £5
